happy birthday to my mum-in-law!

A bright spot in an otherwise solemn day, today is my mother-in-law’s birthday. Mum is one fantastic lady. She is fun to hang out with and is half responsible for creating my favorite person (Meathead did okay too). I called her today to wish her a big happy and we spent a pleasant conversation laughing at/about our husbands - in a nice way.

Mum’s birthday weekend usually coincides with the Hampton Beach’s Seafood Festival which is nice because it makes the birthday celebrations more festive (the whole town is celebrating Mum’s birthday) and we tell the grandkids that the fireworks are for granny’s birthday.

Mum is a cool gal. And I couldn’t have asked for a nicer mother-in-law. Happy Birthday Mum!
