Whew. I got this far and realized that the finger holes (ahem) might be too small for grown-up fingers who might need to help little fingers.
So I went back to the drawing board and made them all little yoga mats:
Just kidding. Hello Kitty finger puppets don't do yoga. At least as far as I know. The colored bits are the sleeves for the fingers. See?
Kitty looks like she could use a little ironing in the whisker department before she is ready to meet her new family. We have to take care of ourselves, you know.
I got nothing else done this weekend. What a surprise. I'm contemplating whether or not I should push on and make the pouch now or wait till next weekend to finish up. I'm kinda tired but want to be done so that I can shop, design and make a mother's day gift. There's also a birthday/baby shower coming up the same weekend as mother's day and the birthday for the Hello Kitty finger puppet recipient. I just don't think I'll be able to manage a hand-made gift for the birthday/baby shower. I work a 9-5 job, you know.

WHOA! That's the cutest handful of felt I've ever seen! They look fantastic! Can a girl support herself entirely by making finger puppets? You could be the first.
Thanks! I WOULD love to support myself with finger puppetry. I sniff a niche market here. I'll have to draft up some sort of a business model or something.
I find it amusing that this blog requires that I input the encrypted letters before I can post a comment. Never can be too safe, I suppose.
Ah... it was because I wasn't signed in yet. These last two comments did not require that I type in the letters.
You know, just in case curious on-lookers who work at Google were wondering...
